I am planning to stay in Tea County, Munnar. Can someone who has stayed there for me in terms of its quality, location and reception compared to other hotels in Munnar similar range?

Oh! You remind me of 1995 when i was in Munnar. Though I remember my journey in a bus to Munnar and my whole stay there, i do not remember the name of the hotel where we stayed. It was a decent hotel with all the amenities and our 3 day stay was very comfortable. Our last day we stayed at a private log cabin. A family was visiting their vacation log cabin and just invited us when we met them at a local tea shop. Total strangers but total trust. They left their cabin with servant for us to enjoy while they were leaving. So i would say people are very hospitable there.
I guess since it is a tourist place (though not so popular) the hotels there would be decent.
